About this place
Step inside Yoneichi in the quiet neighbourhood of Sengoku, and the calm interior welcomes you with the gentle aroma of freshly ground coffee. The cafe's signature drip coffees are brewed by hand one cup at a time using specialty beans. Alongside a daily coffee that rotates through different origins, the menu lets guests select beans according to their character, ranging from the nutty aroma and rich depth of Brazilian varieties to the bright, fruity notes of Ethiopian beans.
When you want something more substantial, the toast plate makes a reliable choice for lunch or brunch. Nicely toasted bread comes served with a fresh salad, sausage, a boiled egg, and yogurt, and can be paired with your drink of choice for an added fee. Afternoon visitors will find an appealing lineup of sweets, including gluten-free chiffon cakes and roll cakes made with rice flour, as well as coffee floats topped with ice cream.
The seating arrangement is welcoming for solo visitors, and the space is equipped with Wi-Fi alongside various cashless payment options. Cold iced coffee is also available to pick up at the door for takeaway, making this a pleasant neighbourhood stop during a stroll through the area.
